Bright Minds is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization providing tutoring, mentoring, and meal programs for disadvantaged elementary and middle school youth in the Chicagoland area. The hallmarks of our program include:
Bright Minds Three Developmental Programs:
Trailblazers is the central program of Bright Minds. Under-served elementary and middle school students and their mentors participate in a structured program of support and academic development. Students and their mentors partake in regular meetups. The program length is 1 year but the mentor and youth remain together if both choose to continue with the program.
Trailblazers is the central program of Bright Minds. Disadvantaged elementary and middle school students and their mentors participate in a structured program of support and academic development. Students and their mentors partake in an energizing retreat, followed by a structured program that includes tutoring, monthly team-building and group activities. The program ends with a graduation but the mentor and youth remain together if both choose to continue with the program.
Meal Friends works with children from local elementary schools where we distribute nutritious and healthy snacks and ready-made meals for students to take home. The program lasts for the duration of the school year.
